First United Methodist Church of San Diego

First United Methodist Church San Diego is an 8,000 member church with an aging demographic. The new design needed to honor the existing valued members but also connect to a more tech-savvy people with specific engaging and interactive web content. The design is tailored to experience new visitor growth and better align the numerous ministries around the core vision of the church. A team from Monk facilitated a strategy session for their leadership team and then conducted a workshop with all the ministry leaders to align their individual goals within the cohesive whole of the church.

So far the plan is working for FUMC San Diego! Since launch, they've experienced a 56% increase in people who visit the “I'm New” area. This area has been revamped to better communicate the vision, share the stories of changed life's and invite people. As a result of the design FUMC San Diego has seen a 43% increase in people who are seeking directions to the church.
